Sarah and Josh’s wedding took place at Sarah’s childhood church in the small town of Stanley! Sarah shared with me in our first conversation that they were getting married in front of the wood cross that her grandad built. I absolutely loved that personal touch, like how sweet is that?!
The couple chose to get ready at Josh’s parent’s house which was really special I think, and it has beautiful views from the yard. It was a win win situation!
Once the couple was ready Sarah chose to share a first look with her Dad. I think first looks are always sweet however, I had to fight back my own tears this time! I’m usually pretty immune from crying! After their first look we headed just a few minutes down the road to the church.
Sarah and Josh shared their vows in her hometown church right in front of that large wooden cross! Her family did an amazing job decorating the church! There was a beautiful ambiance from the lit candles and low lighting.
Enjoy scrolling through this gorgeous wedding day!
This is Sarah’s sweet Grandfather, the man who build this wooden cross! I just love it!
Congratulations Sarah and Josh! Thank you for allowing me to capture your wedding! I have not only gain new but new friends! I wish you both the best and I am excited for your future! – Robin
